Normally when I make cards I stick to the standard 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I rarely do any other size. I guess you could say I'm stuck in a rut or maybe just stuck in my comfort zone. I recently heard a great quote that says..."Life begins at the end of your comfort zone." So, I have determined to step out at least once a week and try something different. So here's what I came up with. Gotta take baby steps first though, or I'll scare myself back into my miserable rut.
This is a set of four 3 x 3 Thank You cards with matching envelopes I made today. I used some of Stampin' Up's new Designer Series Paper (DSP) called Floral District (pg. 163, #126919). The cardstock I used is Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry, and Tangerine Tango. The stamp set I used is from a Hostess Set out of the new Holiday Catalog called Mixed Medley (pg. 39, #128057), and then I stamped the Thank You from Teeny Tiny Wishes (pg. 133, 115370).
Speaking of the New Holiday Catalog... you have to check it out. There are some wonderful stamp sets and fun embellishments. Also some new Framelits to go along with coordinating stamp sets. Too cool!!!! And of course I want one of everything! Well, maybe two of some things. But, I have to keep calm and pace myself.
